I was honored to make a display for Jake Arrieta’s No-Hitter ball from the 2015 Cubs vs. Dodgers game.
The display is made from hard maple and I used 3/16” quilted maple veneer. I used Transtint dye for the colors, absolute joy to work with for colors. The piece is is finished with Sherwin Williams CAB acrylic lacquer, buffed out to a high gloss finish.
